Artistic Director, Alaine Handa just turned 28!

Its a triple birthday because AHDC dancer, Anne Versluis is turning 28!!!!
Many reasons to celebrate...

Most importantly, its that time of year again when we give thanks to all our wonderful supporters by throwing everyone a party at our favorite bar.

Just wanted to let you know all the cool stuff we're getting. :-) I'm getting excited.
And if this is not a good enough reason... COME CELEBRATE MY 27TH BIRTHDAY (I TURN 27 ON NOV. 27TH - "GOLDEN" BIRTHDAY)
A.H. Dance Company is going into our 4th season and celebrating 3rd Birthday on Dec. 4th. :-)

We are trying to raise money to bring us to Guangzhou, China to teach workshops, perform, and lead discussions w/ students aged 12-15 at Utahloy International School about global citizenship, third culture kids, cross cultural communication, and cultural diplomacy through the arts. We are hoping to do this the first week of March in congruence with their Big Arts Day. They lost their drama/dance teacher and the kids are starving for an outlet to express themselves through the arts.

SAVE THE DATES!

A.H. Dance Company will be performing at the 60x60 Festival at the World Financial Center on Nov. 13, 2009 at 12 pm and 7 pm. 60 choreographers & 60 composers are paired at random for 60 seconds of collaboration.

Holiday Fundraiser for this project will be at Stone Creek Bar & Lounge on Dec. 5th, 2009 from 7-10:30 pm. There will be amazing raffle prizes. More details coming up soon!

Association of Performing Arts Presenters (APAP) conference in New York City. A.H. Dance Company will be doing a short segment of this project (Dance & film) at Dance New Amsterdam on Jan. 8, 2010 from 9-9:30 pm

A.H. Dance Company & University Settlement will present this project on May 13-15, 2010.
More details will be added at a later date.
